Kerala Hi-Tech Textile Cooperative Limited (KELTEX) is a Govt. of Kerala Undertaking. KELTEX is an Industrial Power loom Co-operative Society registered under Co-operative Societies Act, 1961. An elected Board manages the affairs of the society. KELTEX is located just 8 Kms away from Kuttippuram Railway Station and 45 Kms from Calicut Airport
Currently KELTEX has eight wider width rapier looms and nine double width rapier looms with advanced features and pre loom, post loom facilities. Now the unit has an average monthly fabric production capacity of 1.50 lakhs meters on ideal condition. The unit has gained considerable experience in running export based orders. The quality excellences accomplished in running linen fabrics are indeed laudable.

The project has been implemented in phases and the first phase with six numbers of imported 3600 mm Rapier Weaving Machines and other pre- loom and post loom facilities was commissioned during 2006. As the weaving machines installed are new generation looms, quality and timely delivery can be ensured. Further, activities connected with next phase expansion of the project are in progress with rapid pace.
